Essex Schools Sports Coaching was created in September 2017, to progress the excellent service that Essex Football Coaching have successfully been supplying to local schools since 2009. We made this decision after discussions with our current and future schools. This new branding allows us to work as an all round sports coaching company and helps advertises the high calibre of coaches that we posses for many different sports.

Currently working with many Primary and Secondary schools throughout Brentwood, Havering, Thurrock and Basildon; we pride ourselves on the relationship that we build with local schools and their staff.

What can we offer?

Although we specialise in football, our coaches are qualified to coach many other sports. Leading coaching sessions before school, at lunchtime and after school allows us to offer flexible times to suit the needs of the schools. We are also fortunate enough to be able to teach PE lessons during school hours, as well as delivering qualifications.

What makes us better than the rest?

Every coach is qualified to teach the sport that they are delivering. We believe that unlike other companies, our unique coaching hierarchy ensures that schools receive the commitment that they are looking for. Every school is promised the appointment of the same coach on a regular basis, as we believe it helps to build trust and relationships between the coach and the school/pupils. With the owner of our company having extensive experience of working in Preparatory and Secondary School PE departments as a qualified PE teacher, all coaches are informed of the needs that need to be met when working in a school.

How do we help to increase participation in sport?

Our coaches also work for local football clubs in the area which allows them to provide links to sport outside of school. The partnerships built with the schools that we work with also offers the chance to increase staff development and CPD. With the choice of learning through the art of coaching or a staff CPD lesson, we are able to assist with the development of PE throughout the school.
